Artist: Shuko Title: Scene from "The Twenty-four Dutiful Sons" Date: c. 1820 Size: 9 x 13 inches (not including matte). Condition: Unframed. Tipped at top to matte. Good condition, with light soiling and a rough area at the bottom left of center. Notes: The identification of this work is based on the inscription on the matte. Under a bilingual "genuine" stamp is stated, "An old hand painting on rice paper from the story of twenty-four dutiful sons. By Shuko c. 1820."
