Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870 - 1949) Numazu Tokaido, 1940. Size: Oban, approximately 16.75 x 11.25 inches. Publisher: Doi Hangaten, also bears Doi watermark. Carver: Harada, printer: Yokoi. This seal combination indicates an early post-war edition. Its pre-war use has been a subject of debate. Condition: Unframed. Excellent. Line of darker blue in sky. Small scuff in water. This stunning view has lovely bokashi. |
